About Kanakia Group

Established in 1986, Kanakia Spaces Realty Pvt. Ltd. is Kanakia Group’s flagship real estate company. They’ve built and delivered 14 million square feet of commercial, residential, entertainment, education, and industrial space in the past 30 years.

Kanakia chose to do something new for their staff since they have always supported “different thinking” in their job. They collaborated with Mentoria last year to launch an innovative employee engagement programme in which they invited the employees’ children to a career guidance session. Both parents and children were introduced to the Mentoria Solution and given clarity about the children’s ideal career paths.

The Workshop

The career guidance workshop was held on 21st July 2018. Nine children benefited from the Mentoria Solution and learnt more about what career path could be the best for them. They performed a psychometric test as part of the solution to establish their key interests, personality traits, and skills. This was followed by one-on-one career counselling sessions with Mentoria’s team of expert career counsellors, who walked the kids and their parents through the report, validated the test responses with real-life examples, discussed growth and development areas, and guided the kids toward the top three careers they’d be most happy pursuing. The workshop was a big success, and employees were extremely happy with their organisation’s out-of-the-box initiative.
