The Workshop
As an employer, Hari Krishna believes their employees are their biggest asset, and strives to make sure they are happy. They partnered with Mentoria to conduct an innovative employee engagement programme, where they invited the children of their employees for a career guidance workshop.
This workshop was held twice: The first one was held in July’18 and the second in April’19. The first session helped 10 children, while the second witnessed an increase in participation, with nearly 17 children benefiting from the Mentoria Solution and learning more about what career path would be ideal for them.
The kids took a psychometric test to evaluate their key interests, personality traits, and skills as part of the solution. This was followed by a one-on-one career counselling session with Mentoria’s expert career counsellors, who walked the kids and their parents through the report, validated the test responses with real-life examples, discussed growth and development areas, and guided the kids toward the top three careers they’d be most thrilled pursuing. All in all, the sessions were a big success, and the employees were extremely happy with their organisation’s initiative.
