How do you get into a college to pursue MBBS or BAMS?

Students must complete their 10+2 education in India with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and earn a minimum of 50% marks (40% for students in the reserved category).

MBBS:

You must take the NEET national-level Examination in order to get admitted to an MBBS programme (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test). The majority of Indian medical schools are covered by this exam. 

BAMS:

All candidates for the BAMS programme must pass the NEET test effective from 2018. However, it isn’t an easy exam to crack and you might need some guidance to crack NEET. 

What is the course duration for each?

MBBS:

MBBS requires 5.5 years to complete (4.5 years of academic study plus a one-year required internship). MBBS:

You can choose to register with the Medical Council of India to become a doctor (MCI). You have the option of continuing your education or working as a licensed doctor in the medical field. The average salary is Rs 6-12 LPA. 

BAMS:
